It is difficult to talk about Tchaata Iniziato without talking of his sire’s story.

Back in 2008, Philippe Ascaso owner of Tchaata Arabians imported from Sweden a young mare named WW Isadorah to introduce the Golden Cross bloodlines and especially El Shaklan in his breeding program. She is a daughter of the exquisite Om el Extreem and out of Ivernah, a chestnut daughter of straight Egyptian and reserve World Champion stallion Crusader. Ivernah traces back to El Shaklan in her dam line through Maleik el Kheil as well as some great old Spanish bloodlines.

In 2009 WW Isadorah gave birth to her 1st foal, a very special colt who was named INIZIO (meaning Beginning in Italian) as he represented a new beginning for Tchaata Arabians’ breeding program. Inizio’s sire is the Brazilian stallion Thee Apprentice, a son of the legendary Versace and out of Legacys Diva by the US National Champion stallion Legacy of Gold.

Philippe Ascaso had a few big inquiries for this colt Inizio and finally accepted to sell him to a long time friend and kept unlimited breeding rights.

The first Inizio’s foal Tchaata Arabians bred was a chestnut colt out of the Russian/Golden cross related mare Avalon Just Mywenn (WH Justice x Avalon Remember / Ekla de Gargassan) who traces back twice to the great Padron as well as Salon and Warandes Plakat. The 3 mainly used stallions in Tchaata Arabians’ breeding program.

This colt was so special that he was named INIZIATO (meaning Begun in Italian) as he was just a blessing. 2 words could sum up what this colt was from the minute he was born: Eyecatcher and Happy. Tchaata Iniziato is the best son of Inizio and his most successful offspring.

He exhibited great qualities as a show horse; his happiness and his big heart were illuminating the ring and charmed everyone that met him. As a yearling and a junior male he won several international shows, including French national Champion, a few medals in B shows and twice 3^rd of the qualifying class and Top Ten at the World Championships.

In 2022 as a senior stallion he was shown 5 times at national and international level and won 5 unanimous Gold Medal including Spanish National Champion and winner of the “Copa del Rey” trophy awarded by HRH the King of Spain. His lower score as a senior male in 2022 was 92.75 and 94.0 for the highest score at the Spanish Nationals.

He won over 15 show titles but the most impressive is not the trophies, the most impressive is who he is. Once you know him, you can’t help it but fall in love for this generous horse, his huge eyes reflect a beautiful soul; he loves humans no matter what. He is playful, happy and so gentle!

Iniziato will play a big part in Tchaata Arabians’ breeding program; his 1^st foal crop born in 2022 proved he can pass on his great and rare qualities such as huge eyes, short faces, great shoulder with upright neck, long strongly built legs and movement.

In 2022, Tchaata Arabians bred the 1^st foal from Tchaata Iniziato, a lovely grey filly with his typical huge eyes and an amazing attitude and strong movement. Tchaata Dinizia was named Bronze Medal yearling filly Champion at the 2023 Galician International Show / Spain and Silver Medal Junior Female Champion at the A Estrada Arabian Horse Show / Spain. She will soon join her new owner in Norway. A few more offsprings of Tchaata Iniziato were successfully shown since 2023 in Spain and France, and won already 9 titles at national and international level.

Since 2024 Tchaata Iniziato is leased out to Bränninge Arabian Stud in enthusiastic and heartfelt partnership with Sarah & Niclas Holm!
